A few hours at the Met Breuer

Today I had a mission to go see the “Obsession: Nudes by Klimt, Scheile, and Picasso” at the Met Breuer. It’s up till October 8th.

Going to the Breuer in the morning midweek is always a great way to see an exhibition like this. There weren’t many people there so I could take my time and get up-close to all these lovely works on paper.

If you have time definitely go and then head up to the 4th floor to see the wonderful exhibition of Jack Whitten’s sculpture which includes 18 of his paintings. I am in love with the whole show. It is exquisite in its presentation and everything the curators did to show the depth and beauty of Whitten’s art.
